Governing Body
The Board of Directors serves as the governing body, overseeing policy development, ensuring quality of care, and guiding program management and strategic planning. ABA is led by a Chief Executive Officer, supported by a Deputy and five Directors who manage its four core programs and administrative operations.
What We Do
Aba Health Services provides compassionate, client-centered mental health care for children, adolescents, and adults—by appointment only. Our core services include:
- Outpatient Mental Health Clinic (OMHC)
- Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP)
- Psychological Testing
- Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS)
Note: Our application for Substance Abuse Treatment services is currently pending approval.
Guided by public health principles, our services are available both onsite at our office and offsite in homes, workplaces, schools, and other community settings—as clinically appropriate and arranged.
Aba Health Services values a collaborative approach. We encourage participation from individuals receiving care, their families, significant others, and advocacy organizations in the assessment, planning, and monitoring of services.
Our agency is committed to working in partnership with Baltimore Mental Health Systems, Value Options, the Maryland Mental Health Administration, and local advocacy groups to meet the evolving mental health and substance use needs of our community.
All services are initiated through a structured process: referral, authorization, admission, initial screening, psychiatric evaluation, psychosocial assessment, individualized treatment planning, delivery of care, and discharge planning when appropriate. We follow a medical model and ensure all program admissions—whether OMHC, PRP, or substance use treatment—align with COMAR regulations and established medical necessity criteria.
Before delivering any services, we obtain the required authorization from the applicable payors.
At Aba Health Services, we are dedicated to delivering comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and ongoing support to help individuals build and strengthen their independent living and community integration skills.
